I have discovered...

I have discovered that you don't get any comments when you post about yard work.  It's a lesson we all probably need to learn , because I see this all the time.  You mention mowing, shrubs, etc., and the comments tragically disappear.  So learn the lesson from me...and don't make the same mistake.

I Post

Well hi there...I do this less and less but really it's a planned element of suspense to keep everyone guessing and wondering..."When's Daniel gonna post next?!?"  Well the longing can cease because...I post.

Not much in this world of mine is of major note...cool things are going on at church, but most of you all get to be a part of that.  I did get a new lawnmower...and really it's made a world of difference.  I think I might actually not mind mowing so much this summer.  The new mower is light, nimble, and great at parties!

I also did some other yard crafting as I removed a Ligustrum from the front and planted it in the back.  It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be to dig it out. I dug out in front of it then got behind it and basically sat on the shrub so that it would kick over and then I cut out some of the roots and we were good to go.  Don't be jealous of my happenin' life of horticulture.

Until I sneak up on you again next time...

And once again...

I thought I would post something real for 2006.  Since we're already 2 months in.  Ahh...were does the time go.  It seems like only yesterday I was enjoying the first days of a brand new year...eh...I don't remember anything about the first of the year already.

PROJECT: CLEAN MY OFFICE
I wanted to update everyone on the progress I have made on PROJECT: CLEAN MY OFFICE.  I started a strategic campaign on Monday to inspire myself to clean my office.  It started with a logo.  (If I was cool and techy I would put up a pic of the logo, but for now you will just have to imagine.)  I posted promotional logos on my office door and windows to let everyone know the venture I was undertaking.  Then I created a prayer vigil so people could pray for me while I cleaned my office.  Hour slots were available for friends, family, and supportive onlookers to pray offering their petitions for safety, effectiveness, and cleanliness to occur during Project: Clean My Office.  After two days of intense labor, I am glad to report I indeed have a clean office.  I even bought an extra shelf and lamp at Target.  I'm not sure if anyone actually prayed, but I am thinking the logo is what put me over the top.

And that's what I do...

Daniel
